Add clinical photos

Keep wound, skin, or fundus photos on the chart.

Useful for Doctor Clinic admin Secretary

  1. Open the patient's Results & Images tab and choose Add photo.
  2. Pick the photo type, the Photo date and a short Description of what it shows. JPG or PNG; several at once is fine.
  3. Save. A photo is only attached to the chart: it is not read as a lab result, and the portal never shows it.
  4. Once the patient has two photos, choose Compare photos on the tab: it opens on the oldest and newest of the type with the most photos, side by side, with how far apart they were taken. Pick other photos for either side, filter by type, or Swap sides.

Common questions

Can patients see their photos in the portal?

No. Clinical photos are not lab results and the portal never shows them.
