Get your clinic ready: first-day checklist
The setup to do once, in a sensible order, before your first patient.
Useful for Clinic admin Doctor
- Open Clinic Settings. On General, fill in the Clinic profile: name, phone, email and address. Then on Branding, upload your logo and choose the Document letterhead. This is what prints on every prescription, certificate and lab request.
- Complete your own profile in My account › Profile: your PRC license number, specialization, and (if you prescribe controlled drugs) your S2 and PTR numbers. Then upload your signature in the same window.
- In Sites and hours, set your Opening hours; on General, the Default appointment length. Patients can only be booked on open days, inside those hours.
- If your plan includes billing, choose how patients pay you: a doctor who is paid directly (always the case on Solo and Duo) in My account › Billing, the clinic as payee (Clinic Pro) in Clinic Settings › Payments.
- Add your staff in People (Add a person), each with the role that matches their work. They are emailed a link to set their own password. Your plan sets how many people you can add.
- Optional but worth doing: turn on two-step sign-in for yourself, and use Role access to hide areas a role does not need.
- Add your first patient from Patients › Add patient, or share your self-registration QR so patients fill in their own details.
Common questions
In what order should I do these?
The order shown works well, but only the clinic details and your own profile have to come first, because documents print them. The rest can wait until you need it.
Who can do this setup?
A clinic admin. On Solo the owner is both the clinic admin and the doctor, so the same person does all of it.
