See a patient's lab trends

Follow values like LDL, HbA1c, or creatinine across a patient's results.

Useful for Doctor Clinic admin

  1. Open the patient's Patient Info. The Latest lab results card shows the newest value of each trendable test, with its change and date.
  2. Choose a value to open its trend, or All lab trends to see every test. The Results & Images tab has a Lab trends button too.
  3. In Lab trends, choose a test to see its chart, with every result plotted by date.

Common questions

The Latest lab results card is missing.

It only shows once the patient has at least one result with values that can be trended, such as LDL, triglycerides, HbA1c or creatinine.

Why is a result missing from the chart?

It could not be read as a number, or it is a scan nobody encoded. A value marked with ~ had its unit inferred.
