Merge duplicate Medical History records

Combine a prescription-only or same-day row into the diagnosis it belongs to.

Useful for Doctor Clinic admin

  1. Open the patient's Medical History tab. When rows look like they belong together, Possible duplicates shows each pair.
  2. Check the pair, and choose Merge… to combine them, or Not a duplicate to stop suggesting that pair on this device.
  3. To merge one yourself, open a record and choose Merge into…, pick the record to merge it into, and confirm.
  4. The lab results, prescriptions and files of the first record move into the second, and the diagnoses are combined.

Common questions

Does anything merge by itself?

One case only: when you write a prescription from a diagnosis with Create prescription, a prescription-only record you saved in the same visit is folded into that diagnosis. Everything else merges only when you confirm it.
