Encode a physical examination

Fill in the physical exam form for an annual or pre-employment exam and produce its PDF.

Useful for Doctor

  1. Order Physical Examination for the patient in Order labs, the same way as any other test.
  2. In the patient's Lab Orders tab, choose Encode P.E. beside that order. It becomes Edit P.E. once the exam is saved.
  3. Choose the exam Type and the Date examined. Check the ID no., Occupation and Company.
  4. Complete the medical history (previous illness, family history, personal and social history, review of systems). The vitals are filled from the latest Clinical Intake where there is one.
  5. Finish the examination findings, visual acuity and dental chart, and choose Save (Update when editing).
  6. The exam's PDF is kept with the patient's documents. Open PDF prints or downloads it, and Email sends it.

Common questions

I cannot find Encode P.E.

Order Physical Examination in Order labs first. The button appears beside that order in the Lab Orders tab, for doctors.

What happens if I delete an exam?

Its lab order is removed too, and it cannot be undone.
