Order and track send-out tests

Follow tests that an outside reference laboratory processes, from collection to result.

Useful for Doctor Clinic admin Med tech Secretary

  1. A clinic admin marks a test as Sent out in Billing › Price list, and lists the outside laboratories under Send-out providers.
  2. Order it from Order labs like any other test, with In-house processing (the clinic collects the sample). A send-out test shows a small arrow sign in the list.
  3. Open Lab Orders in the side bar and go to Send-outs. Narrow the list by status (For collection, For pickup, Picked up, awaiting results, Received, All) and provider.
  4. Choose Mark collected when the sample is taken, Mark picked up when the courier takes it (or Collected + picked up for both), and Mark received when the result is back.

I tapped Mark collected by mistake.

Choose Undo on the same row of the send-outs list.
