Change how DokEMR looks

Pick light or dark, a ready-made palette, or your own colours.

  1. Open My account › Preferences and go to Appearance.
  2. Under Mode, choose Light, Dark or Match this device. The look button at the bottom of the side bar (a sun, moon or screen) does the same, one click at a time.
  3. Under Palettes, pick a ready-made look; it sets the mode and its colours.
  4. To go further, set the Background, Surface, Text and Accent colours one by one. The contrast checks below them say whether text stays readable.
  5. Default or Reset to default brings back the standard colours of the mode shown.
  6. To have the same look on your other computers and your phone, turn on Use this look on all my devices. It stays on your account from then on: change it here and every device you sign in on follows.

Common questions

Can the side bar take less room?

Yes, on a computer screen. Choose the arrow beside the clinic name (Collapse navigation): the side bar folds to its icons, and pointing at one shows its name. The arrow at the top brings it back (Expand navigation). The browser remembers your choice; on a phone the menu always opens in full.

Complete your doctor profile Your license numbers, specialization, and contact details, which print on your documents. Add your signature to documents Upload or draw the signature that prints on the documents you issue, and place it. Turn on two-step sign-in Protect your account with a code from an authenticator app as well as your password.
