Read your dashboard and notifications
What the dashboard shows, and how to act on the notifications that need you.
- Open Dashboard for the day at a glance. What it shows depends on your role: a doctor or clinic admin sees the clinic's figures, what needs attention and who is waiting; the front desk sees Today's appointments and the Current queue; lab staff see Today's lab workload; an encoder sees what is Awaiting transcription.
- Use Customize to choose which cards and sections you see and their order. The first card is shown large, and related numbers share a card (for example This month, or the front desk's Queue). A doctor or clinic admin also has a To do card: Needs attention (the same items as the list further down, or all clear), Awaiting results (lab orders with no result yet, where the clinic has the lab system) and Payments to check (proofs of payment waiting, where the clinic has billing). Reset goes back to the standard layout. A section with nothing in it is one line (for example Today · Nothing booked), and a clinic admin's Subscription card shows by itself only while the plan needs a look (a trial, a payment overdue, a plan that has ended); while the plan is simply active it is in the Customize list, switched off, and you can switch it on any time.
- Open Notifications in the side bar for what needs you: a critical lab value, a payment to check, a support reply, an appointment request, a result to sign. The side bar shows how many are unread.
- Choose what to look at with the list above them, or tick Unread only. Unread ones carry a dot, and the list is grouped into Today, This week and Earlier. The button on each (such as Open or Review & Sign) goes straight to the record; the check mark marks it read and the cross dismisses it. Mark all read clears the dots at once. The list keeps itself up to date.
