- Open Patients. Type in the search box (the one with the magnifier, at the right of the row above the list): a name, patient ID, company, HMO or place (the words can be in any order, and a middle name does not have to be typed). An HMO member number finds the patient too. Press Enter to open the first patient it finds, or use the Up and Down arrow keys to choose another and then Enter.
- Choose Filters to narrow the list by Company, HMO, Sex, Age (from, to, or both), Province and City.
- The filters you set appear as chips above the list; choose a chip to take that filter off, or Clear all.
- To sort, choose a column heading: Patient (by name), Age · Sex or Registered; choose it again to reverse the order. On a phone there are no headings: Sort by is a list under Filters. Beside Filters, switch names between Last, First and First Last.
- Choose a patient to open the chart.
Common questions
I cannot find a patient I know exists.
Search by the other spelling or the patient ID, and check that no filter is still set. Searching always looks through every patient in the clinic.
A patient is gone from the list. Can I get them back?
If they were archived (Archive patient at the bottom of their chart), nothing was erased. The doctor who owns the chart, or a clinic admin for a chart with no owner, opens Patients › Archived (the button is there once at least one patient is archived) and chooses Restore: the patient returns with their appointments, prescriptions and medical history. Documents deleted on their own earlier stay deleted (a patient archived before restoring existed comes back with everything they had). Delete beside Restore erases an archived patient for good: you type DELETE to confirm, and it cannot be undone. A patient with invoices or payments cannot be deleted, because those are kept for the books.
The Province or City filter leaves out a patient.
Those filters only match patients whose address was picked from the Province, City and Barangay lists. An address typed in as plain text has no place to match.
