Record allergies and conditions

What you record here is what the safety warnings check against while you prescribe.

Useful for Doctor

  1. Open the patient, go to the Prescriptions tab and choose Add prescription.
  2. At the top of the window, choose Add allergy / condition (just Add once the patient has some).
  3. Type an allergy and choose Add. For a condition, type the diagnosis in Add a condition / ICD-10 and pick from the ICD-10 suggestions: matching a code is what lets the alerts recognise it.
  4. What you record shows as chips you can remove, and on the chart's Patient Info under Medical background. You can record them there too: choose Add beside Allergies or Conditions (on a patient with nothing recorded yet, + Allergy or + Condition). There, the × beside an allergy or a condition removes it (it asks first), and Resolve beside a condition marks it cleared: it stays listed as resolved, and Reactivate brings it back. A resolved condition no longer counts for the contraindication check.
